Condo Renovation Details

Recently we did some minor renovations to our condo including new flooring and updates to our kitchen. I wanted to share our choice of paint colors and flooring in this post in case you are looking to make updates in your space!

For paint colors I chose Benjamin Moore White Dove for the walls and Benjamin Moore Chantilly Lace for the base boards. These two colors are great to keep the space neutral and allow for accents to be done with rugs, artwork, or other small decor items. Before paint the cabinets were a cherry red wood, I wanted to lighten up the space because the windows are pretty far from the kitchen area. I chose Benjamin Moore Revere Pewter for the color and love how it turned out. The other main change in the kitchen was leveling out the countertop height and switching from a granite to butcher block. The stain chosen was Fruitwood. I am so glad we went with butcher block because it was so much more budget friendly and I think it is a more timeless and traditional look than a lot of other options.

The biggest change was replacing both carpet and tile with a laminate. After looking at a couple of options we chose Signature Hickory Rigid Core Luxury Vinyl Plank from Floor & Decor. The flooring completely changed the space and goes well with our light couch and pattered rug.
